Mission Plus Strategy Consulting

Address: 1 N Lasalle St., 17th Floor, Chicago, IL 60602

In a climate where the need for community based organizations is increasing but the resources for them are not, more and more leaders are looking to strategic restructuring — partnerships and mergers — to strengthen their organizations.

By reducing their overhead costs or increasing scale, community organizations can become more stable, more effective organizations that devote more of their resources to fulfilling their mission. This four-hour workshop will cover what you need to know about strategic partnerships and re-structuring, including:

·    an overview of the four types of nonprofit partnerships
·    the pros and cons of each strategic re-structuring model
·    the criteria for selecting the best strategic re-structuring model for your organization;
·    a description of going through each strategic re-structuring model
·    the first steps in implementing a strategic re-structuring strategy

The workshop will be led by Jean Butzen of Mission Plus Strategy Consulting. Lunch will be provided. To RSVP, please contact Amadi Jordan-Walker at ajordan@lisc.org.
