LISC’s Bookman on Chicago Community Land Trust Board

Joel Bookman, LISC Chicago’s director of programs, has been appointed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel to the board of the Chicago Community Land Trust. The trust, founded in 2006, is charged with preserving the long-term affordability of homes created through City programs and maintaining a permanent pool of homeownership opportunities for working families. It operates citywide and is administered and staffed by the Chicago Department of Housing and Economic Development.
